I do not dislike kids or libraries, I dislike mindless parents who bring their kids to libraries, and libraries that allow them!

Libraries are social hubs now. Story time is an important part of children's development and socialisation. If you don't want the noise , then find out what story time hour is and avoid going at that time. It's not hard.

Went there for 1st and probably last time today. Great location. As others have said it's a community centre not a library. A whole bunch of kids were told by a very loud adult on multiple occasions today to shout at various animals which were threatening to consume them whole. Another theory is that the library is really just a draw-card for the coffee shop which is integrated into it. The library consists completely of just 1 big room - it can't therefore by definition cater for more than 1 event if that event is noisey. The desks with power are pokey and uncomfortable with no visual or acoustic separation between them. Don't come here for serious study. Not sure what choices that leaves. I think funding might have something to do with libraries letting anyone do what ever they like in them to maximise bodies through the door.

Friendly staff and great location but doesn't have enough quiet space. I get that the council has to cater for the whole community including children. With my visits, though, it's resembled more of a community centre (someone else said this) People were doing business on the phone, mums were coming in and having a good old while the kids played. That's not what a library is for. It needs quiet spaces away from all the noise.

Most noisiest library I've ever been to. Like Caringbah library, a group of kids will just sing and shout while someone plays the guitar etc. Sing nursery rhymes etc. People talk out loud including the librarians. It's like going to a kids concert!
